Nope. The 21g Tank is to long to fit in the short wheel base frame.

Someone else already posted a little bit about the tanks too.

Something to add to this thread. I recently got a 19.4 gallon tank from a 2000 Frontier crew cab v-6 2wd. It fits in the same spot as a 15.9 gallon tank. It's a taller tank but the height is added to the bottom of the tank. Another words it will sit lower below the frame rail. The only other issue is the bolts mounting points are opposite.
My stable of Nissan trucks includes:
1987 Nissan King Cab(full frame off Restoration).
