Default Assist Step Rails aka 'Grandpa bars"

So I bought these after my young daughter almost bashed her face in 15 years ago and 15 years later they are faded, rusty inside.

I tore them down, tore the plastic steps out and got ready to send them in for powdercoating except that the plastic is not salvageable.

Is there a repair kit for these, (anyone have part number of the rails themselves?) - or???

Probably not cost effective as good aftermarket list for $150 but I'm a sentimental fool that would rather repair something than throw it out.
