I had one I couldn’t give away, so I junked it and got a whopping ten bucks for the aluminum. List it on Craigslist for 75 bucks obo and see what happens.

Search local Craigslist to see what it's looking like. Where I live there are still shell shops that will buy them in good condition. Could be wrong, but I don't really see that being the case in Bethesda, MD, and yours looks a little rough.

KC Hardbody bed is slightly longer than single cab and is same dimension as early Frontier, FYI. Opens up your market quite a bit when you go to list it.

I paid $40 for mine on OfferUp for an aluminum model. There weren't a lot of options out there and most sell for $100+.

Take it OFF the truck first, clean it up REALLY good, put it on Craigslist as fitting the type of truck you have now. Ask $200/OBO.

It will sell. After you clean it, make sure to take plenty of pics for the ad. Six or eight. Inside and out.

It's a nice canopy. Spruce it up and don't sell yourself short.

And measurements! So many ads for canopies omit this information making it impossible to know what it's for.

Cool. Thanks guys. I have already cleaned the truck and topper. That was the only pic I had with it on the truck. It would be great to sell it for a couple of hundred to offset the new tank and fuel pump assembly I had to buy!

Thanks
Ed

If you have the space to hold onto it and are patient and keep the listing up you will eventually find someone willing to pay for it. There's not much out there for these trucks.

I would be willing to part with quite a few dollars if I was able to find the shell I really want.

One of things that's good to check on old canopies is:

1) Clean window tracks and put lube in the tracks.

2) If they have screening, and the screening is going bad...just rip it out and then clean the windows both sides real good. Looks way better.

I dunno...except for the old green crud and the dirt, that looks to be a pretty cool unit. I would go for two bills or more shined up real good. Clean SELLS.

Take your measurements as outside diameters, and say what truck canopy is mounted on now. I might even use easy spray wax on that thing...and don't forget to scrub the hell out of the roof.

By the way...I like your stock Nissan rims there. Is your truck an SE or an XE? V6 or four banger? We live to know this stuff.
