My newest mistress... - Infamous Nissan

I have had a long love affair with 1967 Chevelles. This is (I think) #29. This number is the running/driving ones. I have had a hundred or more if you include the parts cars. Out of all of them, I never had one exactly the way I wanted it. I could have done this one cheaper, as I had some of the parts on hand, but it wouldn't have been what i wanted. I don't have a lot of pics on Imgur, so no before and after really.

I bought the car a couple of years ago through Racing Junk in northwest Arkansas and 2 minutes shy of 16 hours, it was home. THe next day it was in the shop and torn down. Car was originally a deluxe black bench interior/Lemonwood Yellow Exterior Malibu with a/c, power steering, and no power drum brakes, came with a powerglide trans and a 283. I went the Protouring route with it. I replaced the floors, dash, trunk pan, rebuilt around the rear glass, and replaced the lower quarters, and the tail panel. Then the body came off the frame, frame was blasted and painted, boxed, and a home mini tub.

All the suspension is upgraded, tubular arms front and rear, modified the front and rear spring pockets, has full length coil overs now, fast ratio power steering gear box, fabricated 9 inch rear with 35 spline axles, 2000 Camaro discs all around for the brakes, still no power, lol...

The transmission is a Legend LGT 700 5 speed, and the engine is a 2004 LQ4 6.0 ls engine with a cam and head swap. Hooker/blackheart stainless exhaust from the headers to the rear (really nice stuff). I had the factory A/c suitcase refurbished, it will connect to the LS compressor.

I have a race truck, this will be a driver. The wheels on it are some BMW rollers, I have a set of billet Americian Racing Rally style wheels for it on hand. It will have a vinyl top, as I like the look. The color is the factory Granada Gold. That is the only color 1967 I have never had, and I always wanted one. So since I am the one doing the paint...

Great looking cars - probably my favorite chevelle. Buddy of mines father has a '67 w/ a 565ci backed up with a 5 speed, car just hazes the tires until 4th gear haha...

I need to get the crew cab nova I just picked up rolling and start collecting LS parts...
