Hi! I just bought a 95 Nissan pickup and I'm already super stoked about it. I'll probably be needing lots of advice, so I'm grateful to have found this forum. Thank you!

Hi,

I teach High School Automotive in Nebraska and I own partially own two Nissan Trucks - 1998 Nissan Frontier 4wd a 2007 Nissan Titan. Both of them need major work.

Bought the 1998 for 400.00 it keeps over heating and the guy said the head is warped. We just got done pulling the entire motor yesterday and starting the engine tear down this afternoon.

Pulling the Motor was interesting...

The Titan is my sisters truck but it has major issues that I am working through.

Both of these are now student led projects and have a great opportunity to learn in class.

The closest Nissan Mechanic is 60 miles away so as I have questions about the trucks i will creep on here.

Welcome, glad to hear from a High School Automotive Teacher. In 1978 I had "Consumer Auto" taught by Denny Brinkman in small town Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. I am sure it was one of the few classes I showed any enthusiasm for. I am happy to know thee is still this type of education out there. Plenty of guys here to help, do not hesitate to ask. Welcome.

Hello

I'm about to purchase a 97 Nissan Hardbody on Monday if everything checks out with it. I'm sure it will. I'm a 911 dispatcher married for almost 5 years now and have two kids 15 and 12. Hope to learn a bunch of things from you all in this forum.

Johnny

Thank you! I live off 435 and 24 Hwy area in Independence. Not the best part of town, but my wife fell in love with an old stone house so that's where we are. I wanted to go north or out east further but she wasn't having it.

30 years ago I would make a trip there every week for Sunday beer. Lightweight Buckhorn. Once a year for SantaCaliGon Days.
