Default King Cab truck bed

So I got in a wreck on December and My truck bed, tailgate, tow bumper and right taillight were broken/dented.
The tailgate has a fixable dent but I'd like to get a bed and bumper if anyone has one near Fresno.
A mechanic told me he'd sell me everything for 400 but he doesn't remember if the parts truck is a single or king cab. From what I understand the single cab is the same size but the wheel wells don't line up right?

It will go on there, but yeah, it'll look off. Consider how the King Cab has more bed aft of the wheel wells than the Regular Cab in this picture:

Here is a picture of a Regular Cab bed on a King Cab truck:

There is a lot of info on the beds in this sticky:

Difference between beds

Sadly, the first few pictures are gone, but still a lot of info.

i'll be damned. i just noticed that the single cab long bed and king cab reg bed look like the same overall length. i know that is a remark made off seeing the images compared on paper, but you get the point.

I think they are the same size. The wheel well openings (and probably related bolt holes) are just different.

Regular cab bed is slightly longer than king cab. I had a king cab shell once and sold it to a guy who wanted it on his regular cab. It was a tad short but it worked for his needs.
