Oh i know. I have had to roll start my truck a couple of times.

I got it tagged and titled today. A few rear brake parts will be here later this week. I checked what it was gonna do to my insurance, And that is an additional 370 every 6 months with 25/50/25 coverage including collision, comprehensive and a teen driver on the policy.

The bullshit insurance laws here in TN mandate that everyone on the policy be insured on all the vehicles, even though 2 of them are 5 speeds and i am the only one who can drive them.

Went outside yesterday to vacuum the carpet real good. The passenger carpet is wet. It rained, and the windshield (Already cracked a few times) is leaking. I called around, and safelite beats everyone and they will change it in my driveway for 170 plus tax.

So for now, i have a tarp covering the top. This shit got expensive really fast LOL but yeah i knew the old girl needed about a grand of work.....tires, brakes, belts and hoses, timing belt........etc

Got the title in the mail today.

Yeah that is still there. I also poured two gallons of water down the cowl, and it promptly drained out behind the fender. I checked that because the blower motor is buried in pine needles. So i will be removing the AC box. I ordered a new ac drier today. I already have the orings. Gonna snag a new expansion valve in the next few days. I planned on tearing rhe r rear brake apart today, but the 45 degree rain changed my mind.

Sunk another 185 bucks in it tonight. New brake drums, new shoes, new hardware kit and new wheel cylinders. The right rear was a mess. It took an hour with a sledgehammer to get the drum off. It got dark, so i will do the left side tomorrow and get it all bled. And it was nasty. Look at the wheel cylinder.

Oh i changed the oil. I poured a bottle of seafoam in the crankcase and let it idle for 15 minutes. It was so nasty. I let it drain for 15 minutes, then poured about 3/4ths a quart of marvs mystery oil then the rest with 5w30. No more top end ticking. The new oil is a little dark. I might change it again after a 1000 miles.
