Do you guys have Advance Auto Parts in your neighborhood? Five percent is peanuts to them. Their Speed Perks program often drops 20-30 percent off your next online order. (ship or pick up at store) Also, they will give you five bucks off your next order. Often you can apply the percentage discount AND add on the five bucks off.

I picked up a 120 amp hour deep cycle battery from them in January. Was supposed to cost about 170 which is plenty cheap already. Ended up at 95. Here is more or less the same battery at WalMart. Prepare to be shocked.

A 120 amp hour battery is so heavy you can barely lift it. Almost fifty pounds I think. Will power a fridge using an AC inverter....for a few hours.

You sign up for Speed Perks using your email address. From then on, they keep offering you 20-30 percent off your next order. When you make that order, they later drop a five buck off your next order coupon on you. You can save money big time with these guys.

Yes, Advance may give a 25-35 % discount over Rockauto's 5% but the starting prices are so much lower at Rockauto the 25-35% still doesn't come close, Yes Advance may have Batteries that Rockauto does not but for regular auto parts, the amount Rockauto discounts over local stores is night and day.

Rockauto $43.79 each
with shipping (using my zip as an example) and minus the 5%
= $53.59 delivered

Advance $87.49 each
free shipping minus say 25%
= $65.62

order 2 and it comes to Rockauto $106.18 vs Advance $ 131.24

Advance is cool if they have what you want in stock so you can pick it up same day, otherwise I'd rather order from elsewhere. I posted a 20% off code here in the forum a while back, good til Jan 2019. It's come in handy a couple times. Ese dude at the one near me liked my truck.
