Question New to Hardobodys However????

My 86 has the Z24i and I'm noticing that alot of people are switching out the TBI for the weber 38's.... What is the reasoning behind that? can someone please fill me in because Ive always known fuel injection to be more sufficient and all around better than carbs.... What is the purpose?
