Default 10-15 pounds of boost?

I'm pulling my ka out and giving it a fresh rebuild, I'm looking to throw on a turbo and push any were from 10-15 psi, is there any must need supporting mod I need? Do I need piston and rods, what size injectors should I run what kind a fuel pump. It will be my first time boosting anything my target psi is 14 but I am on a buget consider a turbo kit takes up half of it. If any has boost there truck before pointers or much appreciated. And if you do you know how much power you end up making?

When I had stock pistons I was boosting 7 psi safely. As soon as I stepped it up to 12 psi the ring lands broke on my pistons.
