let me know how that shrink wrap trick works. mine do the same thing. the lighted visor weigh more than a standard one so it very little to make it flop down.

I have not seen any either. I'll just copy what factory has and rebuild my own some day. Maybe in grey leather and put in lights. Time will tell.

they pop up on ebay from time to time. there are new grey ones on there now.

Grabbed some 3/8" clear heatshrink. There's a little improvement, but the main thing that holds them into position is a notch in the pivot arm that wears. I disassembled them a while back and to see what could be done. Thought about JB Weld or something to fill the worn notch, but I wasn't confident it would last. There's actually a shit ton of pressure in that joint. I didn't take pics before I removed the driver side, so the passenger side is the only before/after. They're pretty tough to remove from the clip to swing out to the side window now. I flopped them around and this is where they settled. They were never super tight up to the roof, but they didn't fall down when driving either.

My upholstery guy isnít scared to recover the vanity style. They simply snap apart. When I get them, I usually sell them as is. But I have had some recovered and sold them for more that way. Just ask Cadillac... he got some from me that were redone.

I should redo mine. The upholstery itself looks good but the plastic windows for the warning placards are tattered and stained.

I found that JY Mustangs, mid '90s, will fit the HB. A small tab gets in the way, but I just snapped it off and had "new" visors. Lighted options there too.

Can you specify the model year range? I'm looking at some from various 90's Mustangs and none of them look like they fit. The HB uses a two-screw mount and the mustang visors use one screw from what I can tell.
