Do all Hardbodys' washer nozzles spray in a stream? Cause mine spray in four streams. What is yalls thoughts on this? Do you prefer the streams or upgraded to a mist style? Are there and advantages to stream over mist? Cause the oldest vehicle Ive ever owned us a 2001 and Ive never seen one have a stream until this truck. Is it even worth upgrading if the mist is better? I know Im asking a lot of questions in this post but, how do you adjust them? I tried taking a thumb tack and moving it down because one of the two streams is hitting my roof.

I'm not sure the D21 has a fan nozzle. Mine sprays 2 streams from each nozzle.
I think they rotate vs the ball many new ones are. The spray pattern is personal preference IMHO. As long as it works it doesn't bother me.

They are removable and cleanable, just be careful. Don't break anything.
Heck, they may be replaceable with a better spray pattern, from another vehicle. Someone may chime up... Take one off (4 base pattern) and hit the junkyard. |

See, I was thinking about getting one of those universal ones from Dorman but dont know if there is an advantage to having a strean vs mist.

Lotta guys in the Audi world like to put the fan nozzles on their B6s. They say it covers the windshield better. I'd just be happy if the stream ones I have didn't clog all the time. I would think if you have clogging issues it would just get worse with more smaller holes.

I have one aftermarket nozzle on my 1998 XE (to replace a broken one). But that only has 2 speed wipers.

I've grabbed a couple wet arm nozzles from a Buick Lucerne that I'm planning on adding to Hector once he's running again to supplement the ones on the hood.

Don’t see a big advantage to mist other than saving a little on fluid. As long as the fluid is hitting the windshield properly, the wiper will push the fluid where it needs to be. Most would save on overspray but fluid is still cheap at big box stores.
