I've been collecting parts for about a year now. Just got the drop spindles and now all I need is some new inner tie rods and I'll be ready.

It's a 4.3L with a Camaro 5 speed and a S10 rear. It's a non-running project.

Started the adaptor plate for the custom intake Im making for my VG30. Its maybe 1/3 done. Its still chucked up in the mill at the school. Should be much better that factory because of no spinning air, no corrigated pipe and no square pipe, all of which have high resistance to fluid flow into the throttlebody.

When that is done the next step is to adapt from the oblong shape to round. It will be painted blue just like the factory air box sticker.

The plate, unfinished. For some reason Im doing the inside first. This is right off the manual mill and is still at best 50% done.

There are 4 breathers into the intake on the VG30i. One goes from that hot air flapper on the right to inside the filter, one goes to the AB valve to inside the filter, one goes to the valve cover to outside the filter and has its own mini filter which I doubt does much, especially in the dust. The last one goes inside the filter but disappears behind the throttle body. I didnt have time to follow it today.

Ill add more soon. I have to go do some stuff for my senior project presentation that is tomorrow.

Apparently the last one goes to the EGR. I accidentally unplugged it and the truck ran like crap.

Default Reat disk brakes on the D21!

Finally got around to doing it...

Experimenting with simplifying this mod so that anyone can do it as a true "bolt on", without hacking, cutting and making it a non reversible mod.

The parking brake hook up seems to be the #1 problem.

More to come!
