Are you on a phone? If so, try this:

You probably need to have a Facebook account, too.

I just realized that I didn't click on the actual forum link when I got there. Just browsed for a sec and was like "meh". I like tech threads along with pic threads. That site is useless to me.

Yeah, I have a book of face account. It's just a good pooping time passer...

the last time one of my side vents broke, you didnt have one in stock. i was forced to buy a new one. and it was just under 80 bucks. they are high. i got lucky when i purchased my new center vent assembly in 2014ish. i bought it when they were still under 75 bucks. pfft...not anymore.

WTF???
Selling an item that is broken for that price is ridiculous. A perfect non broken part is perfectly fine to ask that for it. I sell repaired ones for around $90 shipped on eBay.

Well, went and knocked on the door of the donor truck I spotted close by. Been sitting for atleast 6 months by a shed. Went and looked at it when the guy wasn't home about 2 months ago. 1996 x-cab 4cyl auto. Only 90k on the motor and the dash/trim is perfect. Crap covering it all on the outside with some greenery starting to grow on the outside. The frame is totally shot, no biggie. Just want the motor and dash anyway.
So I roll up, introduce myself and asked about it. He said he had a buddy going to rebuild the tranny (obviously shot) and was going to drive it again. Struck out today....dammit.

Just a newb chiming in with an emphatic "yes" to pretty much every reply in this thread.

FB is a flat-out inferior on-line platform for a car enthusiast community.
