Default my 91 300E Benz

got a steal on this gem. 900 bucks, clear title. the guy sold it because it was leaking antifreeze. it was a 5 dollar fitting on the radiator LOL

straight 6. i replaced the coolant tank, lower tank to radiator hose, upper rad hose, thermostat, windshield wiper, battery, and a right rear window motor.

it still needs all 4 shocks, 2 new front tires, plugs, wires, cap, rotor and a valve cover gasket. it had been sitting for almost two years under a carport.

pics below.

it has a few minor chips on the paint, but not a dent anywhere on the body or chrome trim.

i couldnt pass on this deal. my stepson will be 16 in aug, and this will be perfect for him to drive. plus, its motivation for him to get a job. he has a good gpa, and his mom said no job, no car lol

walmart has new tires that fit for for 40 bucks a pop. cant beat that with a stick.

he is excited. but like we have told him, nothing is free. i will take care of the items it needs to stay safe, but the rest is on him.

i wasnt lucky enough to have a car available to me at 16. i also understand that a job for a kid these days will never allow him to make enough money over a reasonable amount of time to buy a car. he will have to work to pay the insurance and gas. i checked with progressive, and when he starts driving, my current rate doubles.

Extremely reliable cars once they're sorted.

I'd recommend doing the shock mounts when you do the front shocks. A buddy just had one go and smash into the hood.

rmeuropean.com

fcpeuro.com

parts.com

My preferred sites for parts.

yeah the front ones are toast. i hope the rear end bushings are good. its making too much noise with the bad shocks to know for sure.
