Default 2.4 Alternator Bracket and Timing Scale

Just as the title states. Im looking for a alternator bracket and timing scale for a 2.4. Thanks.

What do you mean by “timing scale”? The timing marks on the 95 2.4 are on the crankshaft pulley. You reference them to a single pin that’s pressed into the timing cover.

Their are two different alternator bracket style for the 90-97 Hardbody with the KA24E 2.4 motor. The bracket you need depends on the alternator you have.

This style uses the longer bracket. If you have the alternator that has the top tab closer to the 1 oclock position, you need the slightly shorter bracket.

David I'm pretty sure there is only one size bracket. its the alternator that depends on the year of the truck.

Honestly not sure. Will try and look at here in a few and see. Will also post a picture. Its the top adjuster I am needing.

Both brackets will work and mount up. Its just that you might have to make a few trips to and from the parts house getting the correct length.
And yes, there are 2 different sizes of top brackets. Trust me when I say this. I have sold many of these brackets over the last 8-10 years now.
