Coated are likely to be Thorley and uncoated likely to be Pacesetter. With uncoated sand blast all the shipping paint off and at least add some header paint to keep them good and rust free as long as is possible.

It may. I know the 4x4 headers for the V6 do not it too well on the 2wd. JP has a set on his 2wd and I have a set on my 4wd.

Keep us posted on the quality of the OBX.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but that OBX will not fit without some mods. The transmission support beam will be in the way. You'll need to notch it. Mine also rubbed against the firewall. I put mine on, saw how poorly it fit, then took it off... Now it sits in the garage.

My truck is meant for mud and work. If it works and provides more power. i could care less about looks. The notch in the Transmission support does worry me. How much of a notch are we talking about? I guess what I'm asking is, did you leave them out for looks or safety?

Probably left them out not wanting to mod everything to get them to fit.

I was under the impression OBX was a blatiant pacesetter copy.

I left them out because I did not like how they fit. The notch would need to be very large. Do some looking around this site, there are pictures. As well as the header hitting the firewall, to much movement from the engine and something is going to break. You have to release route your speedometer cable as well or it will melt.
