Truck looks good but it’s pretty shitty that they're sending you to Cali so soon

Thanks for the props, welcome to my life.
They tell me one thing and then retract it.
Expensive lesson.
Oh well.

No military.
I work for the Federal Emergency Management Agency otherwise know as FEMA...
You can add Florida and Alabama just between last year and now.
I'm not joking when I say I live in hotels.

Very short notice: I am now in Guam and going to California tomorrow.

I had to rent a garage to hide the Frontier until I return in Early November.
Typhoons in Saipan can mess up a vehicle pretty bad, this one went trough a few and the last one made a mess of the truck.
Since I spent a bag of pesos bring it back from the dead, I don't need any more problems.

I'll see what's for sale in California - on CG or the local papers - who knows?
What's next....

Stay tuned.
Maybe an old SP311 Fairlady?

Well, I had the trip from HELL on the way back to the US. Too much to go into, but United airlines doesn't suck, it BLOWS!!! Leave it at that.
I will NOT fly that POS airline again. 4 days to do a 1.5 day trip. Yep.

Now that I am in Cali, Sacramento to be exact, I'll look for another POS to buy.
I'll try to find a Datsun, but everyone wants a million for an older vehicle now.
It's GOLD!!! Don't sell it!!
Maybe a Nissan, but I really want another dune buggy.
I have a 1956 356 A engine sitting in my shop, recent 1750 cc rebuilt engine with Webers and other hotrod stuff.

I am on another adventure... at least I can drive home, even though it's a Loooong way back.

So did you sell the frontier before leaving Saipan? Are you getting it shipped to the US?

I'm trying t figure out my next plan.
I'm going to fly back, one way or another.
It will cost at least $2k, meh, what the hell.
I have a lot of friends that will put me up while i'm there.
I'll have a chance to finish several projects that i started and see several friends.
Small price to pay

I ended up storing it in a friend's garage... Very RARE to see a garage on Saipan. Almost all are car ports.
I painted a boat for him, he was going to let me store it for free, but I gave him 300 for 4 month's storage.
I'll be going back to finish the truck and help a friend finish a few of his projects also.
I still have to install a new steering wheel, the left quarter glass, another radio (the one I bought from ebay new turned out to be junk), and super clean the interior.
By the time I return, the other tire should be in also.
I have t paint the front bumper, the other 2 flares, the grille and the rear license filler panel. Thanks to Nunya, he shipped the panel that he bought from you.

It is not worth shipping back. It would cost about $3500. It used to cost a lot less until some ASSHOLE passed the Jones act which gave a monopoly to a few shippers. They jacked the crap out of the prices. It used to cost about $1800 in the past- from Saipan to Cali.

I have close to $3500 into this b*tch, so I'm close to the break even point.
I'll see how it goes in the future.
