Default broken dif welds

I know I didn't weld it good enough.
for the amount of abuse it took was surprising.
It still turns. I'm going to reweld it.
Weld spider gears first to side gears then add metal.

if it still doesn't work out I have the new rear end coming along.
trying to find a budget bolt on big brake kit for the ford 8.8.

so...I rewelded it. we shall see if it works.
I didn't add any metal. I melted the spider and sidegears together to the box in the middle.

the problem was the sweet donuts cuased too much twisting and it snapped the little plates I welded in.

Default Roll Pan

welded dif works fine. clutch sounds really funny how though.

finished a roll pan. cut out of a junk tool box.
smoothed edges. cleaned up and repainted. riveted on.
so now it looks somewhat "legal"
