Default Window crank problem

Does anybody have an answer for ny window crank problem? Having never had a D 21 before is this a common problem or something unique to my vehicle? I replace the window cranks because this very same thing happened. The round piece that should rotate in your hand keeps breaking off of the handle itself. I can hold I replace the window cranks because this very same thing happened. The round piece that should rotate in your hand keeps breaking off of the handle itself. I can hold it in Place to get the window to crank up and down but I’m sure that’s not the way it was designed. Any alternative Cranks I could use?

How many have been replaced and is your window stubborn to go up?

A couple things that might help are lubing the window tracks with silicone spray and lubing the teeth on the regulator with grease. Also check to make sure the regulator is bolted in tightly and correctly because if it's cocked you could be putting a twist on that handle it's not designed for.

Have replaced them once. There have been times where it has been difficult to roll the window up I will check on the things you suggested. Thanks

Also make sure the track adjustment is good. If it's too far out, the window will tilt and try to wedge in the track. This will also make it harder to roll up.

Take off door panel and clean and lube the mechanism. Use aerosol silicone lube on the window channels.
