Default 86 XE in Oregon

Hello!

Finally decided to join the forum now that I've fallen down the Nissan pickup rabbit hole. My 86 XE needs much love, but I'm having fun learning all about the Z24 engines.

Now, if only there was a remedy for rust.

Cheers!

Sadly, Nissan did nothing to protect the exposed metal. I live in the south east US, so rust is not an issue here. No snow, no cancer causing chemicals. My frame is so clean, the Nissan of North America stamp is still visible on my leaf springs. Other than the snow belt rust issue, these trucks are pretty much bulletproof.

Welcome to IN.
