Default losing power.

I have searched the forum and can't find anything for my issue. I have a 1997 D21 kingcab KA24E. The truck was sitting for about ten years. I gave it new cap, wire plugs, oil change, fuel pump and filter. Truck has been running good for about 600 miles. pass smog with flying colors. Now when driving it will run great then will go into a limp mode. I lose rpm's and speed. When I pull over and turn off the truck it will run fine for 5 to 30 miles then it will happen again. No check engine light.

When it is acting up, grab the main wire harness that comes off the firewall to the engine. Wiggle and tug it while the engine is running bad. See if that makes the engine smooth out.

There is a TSB about the main harness fuel injection grounds. They break with age and make the engine run like hell.

Just opened up my harness and my 1997 does not have the splices. After reading more pages into this they already fixed this.

CEL really only triggers for emissions related stuff. Pull codes too.

I believe the injector wiring issue was more of a 86.5-89 thing.
