Default Hardbody owner again 13 years later

For anyone watching the posts about looking for my truck.

Latest truck update. After finding out it was donated to charity I reached out to them and they gave me the name of the auction it was sold at. I contacted the auction and they were nice enough to give me the name of person/salvage yard that bought it. After a little over a week of back and forth with the salvage yard owner I have been able to confirm he has the truck and it is fully intact and in good shape (except for the fuel injectors for some reason). As of this morning we've agreed on a price! I can't believe it actually happened. After 13 years I am the owner of my first vehicle again and the vehicle that first fostered my love of custom cars and trucks. 21 years after first buying it it's mine again and it will definitely be a forever vehicle.

Just a little history about me. I was a very active member on nissanminis.com back 2001-2005 or so when I was really active in the minitruck community and first working on my truck. If anyone from that time was on there my name was 93nissan back then. I can't wait to start digging in to the truck and will be pretty active on here as I get it back on the road. I'm sure it will be interesting to find some of the janky stuff I did to it as an 18 year old kid who barely knew what he was doing.

Hope you don't mind, I did move this to Project Build Log area... looks like it will be a great thread for you, going forward.

That's awesome. Be sure to start posting pics as soon as you can. No matter the condition.

I always wanted to find my first car, 1984 sentra wagon, but sadly I am sure it has been crushed long ago.

First update. My dad and brother went to check it out. It's little rusty underneath so clearly it was parked in the grass for a while probably. Not too bad though, won't take a ton of work to clean up. The clutch and brake pedals both just go to the floor so some troubleshooting to do there. I replaced the clutch before I sold it and it's only had about 40k miles since then so it's most likely the master/slave. Cat was cut out at some point as well, not surprising since it was at a salvage yard since last june. The 4" drop blocks were also removed at some point, but the drop spindles at still there so that's good. It's looking like we will tow it up to my place instead of drive it, possibly this weekend. Then I'll really be able to give it a once over and get some good pics.

That is all surface rust, common in the southern and east coast states.

Frame looks really solid.

An this is after cleaning it up a bit. Including pulling all the carpet (it was moldy), and cleaning everything up in the interior.
