So I've been burning oil in my tuck for about a year now, the motor makes a noticeable chattering anytime I'm not accelerating, so my guess is something in the heads needs a fix.
I finally bought all the gaskets and seals I need for the job. What should I be replacing other than the valve seals, I want to make sure its good to go, but I don't want to replace anything that doesn't need it. I'm gonna be changing out the timing belt as well. So anyone who has had experience in rebuilding a vg30 or 33 feel free to chime in and give me any tips or advice before I put the truck out of decommission. |

i would send them to a machine shop. then they are virtually new when they are returned.
