Default Greetings from sunny Arizona

I just picked up a 1986 D21/Hardbody four banger a few week ago and, I have lots of Q's concerning it. Note this poor thing was goobered up pretty badly before it got it i.e. it has a carburetor despite the engine decal stating 'FI'. etc.

This is the critter sitting atop my intake; not this actual carburetor depicted, but mine looks quite similar complete with a sight glass on the bowl.
