Default The almighty uniball

So I'm balls deep, 2 years this time, in the middle of a 3/4 frame SFBD build. I have been looking into switching out my ball joints to either a uniball or some other spherical type of ball joint. I am not new to the minitruck scene as I've had mine since 92. But I have noticed that in the last few years people have been building control arms with these type ball joints. I have already built a set of control arms for myself with K727 and K772 ball joints. They work but I'm not satisfied with the fitment. Who has had experience with the uniball and the like? I have a friend that has a Titan with Ballistic joints and they constantly bang and pop and creek. And you have to constantly grease them to keep the noise down. And then I've seen lifted trucks with similar ball joints on custom arms with ZERO lubrication. Who's done these and what are your feelings on them?

In Jr High a friend told the homies that his dad lost a testicle in a football accident when he was our age. From that point on we called his dad Uniball behind his back and didn't respect a damn word he said.

Well the kid wasn't safe from our ridicule either, so huge mistake on his part. Knowing factually that someone was conceived of a man with one single nutt was great ammo in the '90s when "yo mama" jokes were at an all time high.
