Good morning everyone. So, last month I bought a 97 Hardbody. My first one. Literally the day i said out loud "I really like this truck!" I was rear ended by an idiot texter. And now, the insurance check is on the way to me! And the search has begun. Mine was a 5 speed, 4 cylinder, 4 wheel drive. Ideally, I want another just like it, but I'm open to considering others. I live in Massachusetts, but I'm willing to travel some. Let me know what you have and we'll go from there.

This one just posted in our Facebook classified group.
https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...3806118824374/ Probably one of the nicer ones I've seen in a while. Just FYI, though: Everyone else here just saw that post, too.

That is quite nice. If it were a V6 I’d be on that

Do yourself a favor and go south for an older vehicle. We don’t have those frame eating road chemicals everywhere during the winter (ha ha).

Are you wanting regular cab or extended cab? I’m constantly looking. Here is a regular cab.

Not what you are looking for, but I'll throw it out there. I got a 95 2.4 auto 2wd extra cab with 100,xxx miles. I am second owner. It was a Florida truck until 2014. Original paint is very nice and interior is extremely clean. Runs excellent. No timing chain noise. I got it with approx 50,xxx miles and have done a lot of maintenance and preventative maintenance on it. Only annoying issue I have with it is one of the rubber trans lines from the radiator to the hard line is weeping at the radiator connection. Not enough to drip, just enough to piss me off. I thought I fixed it, but it started again. I will probably give it another go and see if I can fix it. 3500.00. Truck is in NY 12542. Pics are a real pain to post here for me, pm me and I will email them to you.

So, the search is over. I found a 98 Frontier. 4 cylinder, 5 speed, 4 wheel drive. Unknown miles due to the typical odometer issue, but judging by how it drives and the lack of wear on the pedals, I'm not worried about it. The only issue is the bed is pretty rotted out. I haven't decided if I will try to find a used bed or build a wood bed. What say you all?

In the amount of time it will take to build a wood bed you can drive south and get a metal bed...possibly one that’s the correct color.
