Default Towing and hauling '91 d21 4x4

Now that I finally want to tow a trailer, I see my truck came with absolutely no towing package. How can this be?
Underneath on the frame there are no holes to install.
Someone suggested that the only option is to go with another bumper...?
I don't like that option, as my only choice is to be a Pick-n-Pull scavenger. Don't have time. What are my options besides finding a welder?
Thanks

Often times a UHaul place can set you up with a decent tow package. They may be able to get you squared away with wiring too.

I just bought one of these. Haven't installed it yet but the plug is right under the truck at the rear passenger corner and it looks to be a match.

Amazon also claims it'll fit, and they've been pretty good about that. $15 with an easy return is a chance I'm willing to take.

I believe the frame hitches are still available. I have one on my 87.

Most of the towing packages (translates to Receiver Hitches) go into the same bolt holes that your bumper uses now.

You will take the bumper off, stick the Receiver Hitch up there with one arm, hold the stock bumper up there with another arm, slide the bolts into one side with a 3rd arm, and then reuse that 3rd arm with the 4th arm to get the bolts tight again.

It helps to have someone assist you if you don't have lots of arms.
