Default Re: VG30E 4x4 SE - cranks No start

Problem:
I left the car iddling when i came back it was off by itself.

1. Won't Start but it's cranking.
2. Pulled out #1 plug and there was no spark.
3. Disconnect the ignition coil wire from the CAP and no spark either.
4. Changed the Ignition coil and test it again but was the same problem, No spark.
5. I've spare ECU and pulled out the old one and plugged in the new one but got the same issue. Didn't start or even no spark either.
6.I checked for busted fuses but I couldn't find something that related to ignition.
7.Pulled out the distributor assembly and tried replacing it with my spare but didn't do any improvements. Still no spark!!!

Any help will be appriciated.

Check the codes. There is a primitive crank sensor also called a wave plate inside the distributor. If that is bad, it won’t send the signal to the coil to spark.

John is spot on here. Check the codes and the fuse links at the positive battery post.

I do not have a machine to test for code. The next close city i can do that is almost 540km away. So i usually go n buy parts by bus n do trial and era since the car is at the farm deep in the desert pf kalahari game reserve. So suggestion on wat to check will help before i can decide to hire a tow track to tow it away.. Which will cost a lot more than buying spares only to find out maybe its jst an open circuit.

Spark from distributor comes from fusible links. See this link:

What year is your truck? You never said, and your profile shows 1998. Nissan USA did not sell a VG30 in 1998.
