Default Project Midlife Crisis

***** EDIT If you are viewing this post with Internet Explorer or Edge and cannot view my photos hosted on Photobucket, then it's time for a New web browser. Maybe Chrome, Firefox or ?? Once installed, search "Photobucket Embed Fix" using your new browser. Just install one and Welcome back home all of those missing Photobucket hosted images all over the internet.

It's like seeing them all again for the First time

Hey everybody, my name is Ron but you can call me Doughboy. I live in Marysville, WA if there are any other members close by and want to hook up. This is where I will share the build-up of my bone stock 95 extra cab XE with the world.

Back in 1988, I bought a new off the lot 1989 standard cab and this will be an old school build like I had back then.

The truck has 108k miles, a clean Carfax and I am the second owner. After getting it I installed new plugs, cap, rotor, fuel filter and O2 sensor. Flushed and changed the oil and All other fluids, brake & clutch, power steering, trans & rear diff. Ran some 44k in the fuel tank. It is my daily driver and I drive 25 miles each way to work an average 25 mpg.

The body needs some work on the passenger side, original owner scraped it on something. The driver's side is great and there is no rust anywhere. The interior is in awesome shape, dash and door panels are mint. It has ice cold A/C, power mirrors, sliding back glass, chrome package, intermittent wipers and a tachometer. I had the bed Line-X'ed already.

Here is how it sits now...

My build plans so far are:

Static drop with torsions and 3" blocks
15x8 deep dish wheels with 205/50-15 rubber

Pioneer touch screen head unit
HD backup camera
Polk Audio speakers for doors and back wall
Alpine amplifiers
JL Audio ported BassWedge with 2 12's
lots of Fatmat sound deadener

Power windows and locks (looking for factory power window door panels )
Alarm with remote start & keyless entry
Window tint (legal %)
Fog lights
Popup sunroof
Rollpan
Early 3 slot hood and grille
An engine swap in the future...

All threads need photos, so here are photos of the stuff I have already bought for it...

Wheels and tires

15x8" American Racing Outlaw 1 wheels, got all 4 used for $80. Had them blasted and powder coated in an aluminum color.

Yeah, I prefer the square dash myself as it better matches the square lines of the truck.

Clean truck, and a very nice audio setup picked out there. I'm also running Polk mids and Alpine amps.

Got her lowered down today. 3" blocks in the rear and turned torsions in the front. Also took off that boat anchor step bumper. I bought a new roll pan last night http://modshopinc.net/store/index.ph...roducts_id=390
