So I tried 2 other MAF sensors and still no change. Tried unplugging everything I could get my hands on and either it would just die or I wouldn't see noticeable difference. I did happen to get my hands on a FSM so next I will be physically checking each item starting with the more likely ones. Hopefully here in the next day or two I'll know something

Still nothing, I checked timing and was a tooth off. Redid all that and now still the same issue. Although I have noticed that my dizzy is maxed all the way too one side before hitting the10* mark. Probably going to get another timing belt and double check teeth just in case the one I've got was not on a Monday or Friday since it was a real struggle to get the marks to line up. Seemed like it was a half tooth off no matter what way I put it on

OK so I'm still trying to figure this out, I've got zero power in low rpms, as it warms up the timing will retard itself 25* just changed the o2 sensor since I was showing "heated oxygen malfunction " and am now showing a code 14 "vehicle speed sensor" what does that have anything to do with engine control?

Sounds like the timing is still off, the distributor should not be adjusted all the way to one side. Think you need to re-set the engine to top dead center and make sure the cams are set in the correct location.

That's what I thought when I was redoing the belt and checked it 4 times now. When I start it I have full swing left and right with the dizzy and I'm sitting right at 10* advanced. It's not until it warms up that it retards to -25*

You are supposed to check the timing after the engine warms up, also are you unplugging the Throttle position sensor?
