I think 95 was the last year of the WD21 (or maybe it was DW21?). I know 96 was the round body.

Ok say I'm looking at trading my jeep for another hardbody, the guy has one but the timing chain is broke. Would the engine need rebuilt or can I slap a new chain on and call it good?

No.If the timing chain went out chances are the valves kissed the Pistons. You will need to rebuild the cylinder head as the valves are probably bent. Valves are roughly 16 bucks each. Good timing kit 375. Your looking a pricy complicated project if you attempt to do the work yourself.

Look on Craigslist and pick up a set of silver titans. Get them bored out. Then run them over to niceville and let Xtremekustomz paint em black.
