Default Updates!

Hey guys, well I had some serious problems upon installing my new fuel pump for anybody that hasn't seen, the link is here http://www.infamousnissan.com/forum/...ad.php?t=30625

I forgot to get and pictures of the fuel pump install, I really should have, it's funny how much easier everything is with a 3" body lift. Now that my fuel pump is in my next step is to get that exhaust under my truck and see what my plans will be for a cat.
On another note, got my IN stickers in the mail too!

I can't wait to cover that back window in stickers.

Had to give my friend a jump this morning so I brought my truck, I think the ignition timing is off so I guess i'll have to buy a timing light at some point, although it could still be the fact that I have no exhaust whatsoever so i'll worry about that first haha. Anyway snapped a picture considering I haven't uploaded a full shot since rebuilding the rear leafs.

You can never have too much ground clearance here in Canada lol. We just got 10 inches to 1 foot of snow where I live - in one day.

But looks like you got a D21 that praises the lowered. Respectable.

No time for low here! Wouldn't last a day with the roads here.

Bought my very first welder today. It's just a small MIG/flux from Canadian tire but its enough for the small jobs I need. I practiced on a few things all day and I finished off by fabbing myself an idler arm bracket

Wasn't my best weld of the day but this is brand new to me and i'm really pumped that I got this.

Been playing with my welder a bit and getting used to it. I've got a line on a local truck for parts so I may be getting a parts truck or at the very least some of the parts I need like a cat, tail lights and corner lights (hopefully).
To the best of my ability I have the timing set with the distributor cap but I'm still going to get the shop to check everything when I take it for inspection in a few months time because I feel as if the engine still is not running properly. Could be a combination of off timing and no back pressure, once the snow clears and I have an exhaust i'll take the truck for a nice long drive in the woods, as the engine hasn't been to full operating temperature in a long time either.
Either way, my mother doesn't appreciate my parking.

Got chatting with one of my buds about doing dual batteries on his jeep, and once I get a winch and bunch of offroad lights maybe ill want to do the same. I remembered I have some old capacitors from my audio system so I bolted one up to my battery for fun.
Edit: and when I say bolted up I mean I used zip-tie's, haha.
Afterwards I went for a small drive up in the woods, im currently only running with 2wd because mile marker is sending me a replacement hub. ( and they have had me waiting forever) so inevitably I ended up dug into the snow and had to get winched out by a friend.

That thing looks awesome.

For lights, I highly recommend the TUFF LED lights Amazon sells. Good price, the quality is good, easy to wire up, and work great! I've got them on my truck and like them quite a bit.

Thanks! I actually think my stepfather is giving me a set of halogen lights he doesn't use anymore, if anything i'll just put bigger bulbs in them.
It's still got such a long ways to go before i'm done with this truck, but it is definitely beastly.
