Default Homegrown Hardbody

Thought I would start my build log so Here goes.

The day I brought it home, My freind at work gave it to me not running fuel delivery problem and suspect burnt valve in #4.

First order ov business after getting it to start was to fit some bucket seats, 1990 integra donar.

updated the bumper and filled the vents and added lights.

Found a KA24E for $300 on craigslist for $300 good runner. Donar vehicle parting out because transmission went out.

Finished pulling the tired Z24E yesterday. Getting ready to clean the trans up and gut the interrior for wire harness replacement.

Got big plans for this one but am going slow to keep the cost down as I do not need it as a daily driver untill this spring when We let my son at WSU have his car. Can still drive the silverado but want something that gets better milage for the comute to work every day.

It is the factory bumper with the vents filled and lights recessed in. Made it myself.

Looking good. Can't wait to see more progress. Nice bumper modification and color choice for the bumper

Pressure washed and degreased the engine compartment, Only thing still in the bay is the brake lines, wiper motor and the brake mastercylinder. Freaking brakeline plastic brackets are brittle so I plan on machining some billet ones. Dash is starting to come out but is in such sad shape that I might have to get a replacement from the Wreckers for reassembly once the harness is swapped.

After stripping out the interrior for the harness swap I found that a leaky clutch master had ruined the paint on the floorboard. I sprayed the interrior floor and backwall with sprayin bedliner to protect from rust and help deaden the cab.

Also pulled out my torsion bars and front shocks getting ready to install the front bags.
And picked up some chevy 16's so I can get the ride height set.
