Chart for wheel size ^^^ Could not copy and paste.

Ok wheel experts, Lets see how good you are.

I'll be running a 20x10 torq thrust II in back, and 20x8 in front.

I'll be using a shortened ford 9 inch also

So what would be the best setup in the rear to tuck, and obtain the widest outer lip possible.

Best setup for the front to tuck?

Bonus question if you can tell me how long my 9 inch is gonna need to be from mounting surface to mounting surface.

Thanks guys!

it would be easiest for you to buy the wheels, mount them to the axle in question, and then get it narrowed. unless you plan to buy a narrowed axle off the shelf.

but yeah, specs on the axle would be required to even attempt the math here. i dont have a ford 9" laying around to measure.

That was the basic idea to buy the rear wheels and get my info from that, The way I see it is I want to be the same width as my stock rear setup to tuck under the bed, maybe a half inch on each side over at the most if I run flared bedsides or 4x4 graphs.

I would like to buy the 9 inch already shortened to my specs, So the only way I figure that is, is to order the wheels, only problem is the rims are custom and they won't take them back if they are not right, so that's my little dilemma as to what to tell them I need.

Ah, gotta love custom, It can rack your brain sometimes. I think I need to quit being lazy and go take some measurements hah

if you are ordering a custom axle, they should be able to help. just tell them you want an overall width of XX" once you have the wheels mounted, which are going to be XX" wide with a X.XX" backspacing.

more backspacing = less lip
more positive offset = less lip

I'm guessing backspacing is the same as backside setting.

So I would want the least backspaced wheel.

Difference in reversed rim and reg?

min backside setting is 4.5 and max backside setting is 7.25 on the reg
min backside setting is 3.0 and max backside setting is 4.25 on the reversed.

I'm guessing I would want the 4.5 on the reg 20x10 for the widest lip?

Is it possible to tuck a 8.5" wheel in the front without 4wd fenders?
If so, how much offset? Truck will be bagged but not bodied.
thanks

With stock spindles you should have no problem. My eskies are 18's and they actually stick out a little past the 2x4 fender aired up but layed out i can fit my fist between the fender and the rim.
