Good start there.
Appreciate it. I hit about 3.5RPM on the highway going 75 so under 3 sounds nice to have someday haha.

Here's a link to a gear calculator I like. D21 gears on stock tires are already input. Foul Mouth linked to one in another thread a while back that is a bit more extensive.

Things are starting to break in and it rides pretty good so far. Needs an exhaust bad. Cherry bomb is funny but never a final solution. Right front wheel bearing has slight play. If I have a cotterpin I will address this in the morning. Even if I am light on it the fuel goes quick. 4.37 is just no ideal for a daily. It's fun to get on it but now the honeymoon is over I'd gladly go up to 4.10s if I have to travel. I stay off the expressways because it is really turning rpms at speed. I am slowly sorting it out. Exhaust first.

Also added led headlight bulbs. Good lighting. Won't be working nights starting Monday though so won't have a need soon.

(Re)Pre loaded the right front wheel bearing. Lf was still good. Checked tire pressure and found the rears at 44psi. Toooooo high. With no load I run the rears at 28psi, reduces bump steer. Fronts were 35psi cold. I dropped them to 32. Runs better down the street now. It's all about sorting things after a build. Fine tuning. We will get there.

Adjusted some play out of the steering box and tightened some bolts on the sway bar mounts. Drives excellent for what it is. 1000 miles on it now.

Owned this truck 6 years, never had a radio in it. Today I changed all that by dropping one in it. There was no wiring to speak of so this was a fresh install.

Autocross next Sunday. Gonna beat her like she owes me.

If she breaks she breaks, that's what trailers are for.
