Should not need to shorten it. There are quite a few things that can cause a shake from the tires to the drums to the driveshaft and so on. I would download a vibration sensor app on my phone to find out the frequency of the shake. That will help tell you if it's tire/wheel or driveline since they vibrate at different frequencies.

^^^^

thats clever as fuck.

I can never tell if the noise i hear is cams, crank or more than one valve sounding like a crank due to the 2:1 rotating ratio.

Being lowered doesn’t change the length of the truck.

Is there really a search app that can help with that and I was wondering if anybody out there knew how long the drive share the back half of the drive shaft of a standard cab truck how long it is Versus a extended cab back half drive shaft are they the same length are they different links

doesn't change the length, but it can push the driveshaft towards the transmission

I’m almost in the same boat. 01’king cab with 4” blocks. With 150 lb in the back, I get an intermittent, every 3 seconds, vibration at 70 mph. I’ve heard also of shortening the drive shaft, since it is being shoved into the trans. I’ll Ill do that if I need but I’m looking to see what else I can do.
