While I love the look of the red poly bushings I decided against it on my own truck because they are not graphite impregnated like the blacks are which mean you need to double your grease and still risk having squeaks and groans eventually.

Just did this this over the last few days. Holy hell that lower control arm bushing is no joke. Drilled out as much rubber as I could then twisted/ripped out the insert with vice grips. Had to burn out the rest of the rubber with my propane torch while having a spray bottle of water to keep it from getting too crazy. All the other bushings were easy compared to that.

1-1/4" hole saw will hog it out then either burn the rest out or use a very heavy wire brush attachment on a drill.
