Yea I thought about narrowing but heard to many horror stories so I didnt. But if I did I'd just go to a 12bolt GM and be done with it. Something that getting shortened axles isnt an issue.

my 94 4x4 SE pathy has drums and a lsd.

my 88 has no lsd and disk brakes...disk brakes is an option, so is lsd

I'm a super noob when it comes to these pick ups but do the Pathies come with 6-lugs and are they a direct bolt on to the HB??? i would love to have my HB with discs all the way around and have LSD!

Yes, they are both 6 lug.. Not sure about if you can bolt the rear up.

They are both 6 lug but the rear end for a Pathfinder is far from a bolt-in for a Hardbody as the Pathfinder uses coil spring suspension and the Hardbody uses leaf springs. At a minimum, you would have to cut the spring perches off your truck axle and weld them onto the Pathfinder axle.
