Default I got gas !

So hereís the story.
I have about a 1/4 gallon of gas that has been sitting in a gas can for about 1 and 1/2 year. I know itís a small amount but I canít find a place locally to dispose of it.
Would it be OK if I put it in my tank ?
I would think that the small amount in my truck with it having a half a tank or more it would not hurt anything. What say you ?

I have nothing to say about the chemistry, but anecdotally, I let a car sit nearly three years on a half tank. Finally got into it to get it sold late last year. Poured in a bottle of Seafoam and a bottle of the black Chevron fuel system cleaner and it started and idled extremely smooth. Then the damn thing sat another six months. It started and idled excellently then too. Drove off that half tank finally. Car has a couple issues, but the fuel system is healthy.

But if you were a real man, you'd just drink it.
