Talk me down from buying this

After scouring this forum for a few months I see it's safe to say I'm not the only one that's in love with the D21. With that being said I'm sure anytime you see one for sale with potential it hurts not to buy it.

So my current dilemma is weather or not I should bid on this truck. I have the 4x4 5spd but would also like a 2wd auto to putt around with and let family borrow it when they need it.

Besides the obvious in the pictures it also has an engine miss, has no power steering, and no brakes. All of which I can fix but is it worth it? I looked at in person yesterday and the frame is true, very minimal rust on the body and absolutely none underneath.

With all being said my max bid would be 1500 and think that would win it, but should I?

Its been rode hard and put away wet. There is a lot more wrong with than what is listed. IMO.

As vehicles go... well, now??? So, if you have the cash, go fur it. Be ready to drop much more... as needed. Don't forget taxes...

I also would pass and look elsewhere. Have you looked @ CL in your area?

Yea I think I'm going to pass on it. I just hate to let it go with such a clean body and no rust, it looks good in person. Also I'm fond of the teal color but we can't save em all.

I was watching in the final minutes but if it went over 1200 I wasn't going to bid. 1100 was originally my limit with it needing so much work but people are bidding things up way too much in this current market.

And trust me I'm a MT guy all day, this would've just been more of a beater and a loaner to family who can't drive my MT. Not that'd I let em anyway
