Man, sounds like your car's getting the royal treatment! I've barely had time to work on mine the last few months Last night I finally got the bolt out that holds the harmonic balancer on. It took a 25" breaker bar and a 4' long piece of iron pipe to get that bolt loose. 295ft lb of torque on that flipping guy.

A '95 E500? If so go back there and strip that car of every thing that isn't shared with run of the mill W124s. Lots of desirable parts worth CA$H.

The fuel tank vent valve will be here tomorrow. All I have left to really do is find that damn oil leak (probably a head gasket, notorious w124 and m103 problem) find better console wood, change the climate control and convert the ac.

Vent valve installed and also trimmed the return line so it is no longer pinched. It is running like a top.
