Sweet truck. Looks better than all the 620's I have been looking at.

Thanks, I'd like to get a 620 one day too. We always heard those southwest trucks are the ones to get, no rust!

They certainly are, just be ready to replace all of the bushings and the drive-train.

A 620 is next on my list.

One of my first Datsuns was a 610 two-door. The CAR. What genius for the day. We called it the Orange Julius...well, you know why. That was the color. I wish I had live-time pics for you but it was a long time ago.

I remember jacking out the stock engine (L-18 I think) and dropping in an L-20B with a Weber carb. Took my friend Ronnie and I maybe 90 minutes to do it with the cherry picker.

Then it went like a bat out of hell for a four-banger. I believe it had better suspension than most Datsuns of the day, four-wheel something or other. I Ricky-Raced that sucker everywhere it was safe to do so. Those early Datsuns were so much fun, easy to fix, and bring back nice memories.

Started using the needle scaler and wire brush to clean the undercoating off the bottom side of the bed. I got about 1/3 of the way through. I wanted to do some work to it but I didn’t really feel like doing any finish sanding. I need to get some replacement needles for the scaled from harbor freight. The flared end of the needle is worn and they keep falling out.

Too bad photobucket wiped out all your pics.

I installed the Photobucket fix, and I can see them on my desk top, no luck on my phone though...

Advice only: Ditch Photobucket. (aka 'Photo-Crapit') Register at Imgur dot com instead. No ads, easy to use, quick up and downloads, good picture editing functions...and free.
