Default gauge cluster repair help

ive got an 88 hardbody z24, i need to replace the voltage regulator in the gauge cluster i was wondering if anyone had a part number or a link to the regulator i need

Mine fried last year. I’m happy i have hoarded a few clusters over the years. Spare parts are nice.

thanks for all the responses really apreciate it just wanted to make sure i was buying the right part these clusters seem to be a problem child between the regulators and the bent speedometer needles

Yeah, cluster problems are a regular occurrence. I still have one of Caddy's spare parts sitting on my workbench I need to ship back where I've been trying to figure out what's wrong with my tach.

ahh Yes the bent needle... Tried to fix mine... it broke...
Super glued a wood match stick, painted white... works great now... no drag...

Like wise the tach issue now..

You may think there's no drag, but that matchstick is too heavy. We r talking micro grams of tolerance here, you'll be straining your little gears which will eventually break.
