Default D21 seats

What are the best seats to install in a D21 single cab. I would prefer bucket seats and console. But bench seat with a console would work also

I'd say get whatever is easiest for you to get for what you can afford...
Off hand a Pathfinder of your year, will be a drop in...
A console I believe will bolt in aswell...

Get some bucket seats. Far more comfortable and more room available. You can buy aftermarket consoles at Amazon pretty cheap that will fit. Best way to shop for car parts there is to register your vehicle with Amazon under My Garage. That way, Amazon will (usually) be able to tell you if something you look at will fit your rig or not.

Any seats from an 86.5-97 hardbody or 87-95 pathfinder will bolt right up.

My seats came from an 89 Kcab into a 88 Rcab. Console is from a ford Exploder, with the top "flip up" part removed.

It opens from front to back, so passengers can access it too, if need be. I was really surprised at well it fit. I did have to fab up some brackets to hold it down permanently.

No, there is less room with bucket seats. The bench seat will fit 3 up front.

With three adults, it is really tight and hard to shift! 👪

When I was in high-school sometimes a girl would have to sit in the middle, it was either good or bad depending on the mood.
