I bought a yota rear and bought all new wilwood brakes, rotor hats and calipers. If you want to go thaat route let me know and I will post the part numbers but you have to make a bracket for them to fit

can we get a definitive way to do this the best. i read through and saw multiple different routes of doing this. can we get all the ways listed and how to's, advantages, disadvantages, and overall best bet.
and what year rear axles have ratios the same or similar to a 95 xe 2wd 4cyl

So based on what Ive read all id have to do is.....

1. Get my spindles machined 1/4 inch based on the first diagram

2. Use Toyota hub 84-95

3. Use a Toyota rear end

4. Use stock brake setup

Couple questions just to be sure...

1. with machining the spindles I would use the Nissan spindle rear seal with Toyota bearings?

2. Is the Toyota rearend a direct bolt on?

3. I would like to know about Droppednissan06's question about the brake pads hanging off 1/2 inch

BTW I have a 2000 Frontier 2wd 4cyl 5-speed

I ended IP using Toyota calipers and pads. It bolted right up to my Nissan spindles with just a little grinding on the spindle. U also have to change your brake hoses. The only down fall is going from 2 piston to 1 piston. But they work fine on ext cab hardbodys and work good on mine
