ford 8.8 disc brake rear with posi, dirt cheap but its dirty.

will get wire brushed, painted and refreshed.
not sure weather to keep leafs or go 4link with it.

the 3" lowering leaf pack is already flopped and sagging bad.
(not efficient suspension)

anyone able to decipher these #s. curious to know what truck and year this came from

this morning on the way to work.
*a tad wet out*
from a dead stop I hammered the throttle and cut to the right to skid to the right. every is fine. no1 around. straightening out ..then. BAM! locked into gear ???
stuck between lanes sideways. some guys showed up to help me push it*in gear*
once I got it to a lot. I killed it. restarted...gears worked ????

so I tried to just make it to work. got here on island and same thing around a corner. feels like the rear end broke out. after looking.. nothing ???? im confused.

25mph down the road to park. first gear is super sloppy and feels broken. clutch makes crazy noises...…….

did I brake first gear?? first hard redline skid was in 1st.

I think the only difference in a Ranger 8.8 and Expo 8.8 are where the leaf spring plates are. The Expo rear has them below the axle and the Ranger leaf's sit on top of the axle. but IIRC a Ford8.8 is a Ford 8.8. Axle width may vary, depending on year and vehicle, like an F150 will be wider than the Ranger/Expo/Mounty, but the gears are all the same. I could be wrong
