Default 4x4 parts a pillar gauge pod

I got mine today and was pretty disappointed. I paid $8 more for them to paint it primer gray. I would of left it black if i would have known this. Now I have to paint it myself.
I know it's petty, but it doesn't even match the early gray. Looks like primer.

That sucks, I can’t remember what color mine is. It’s been in the box all these years. Got any pics?

I'm just aggravated that I paid to have it "primed" and I still gotta paint it. It still kicks ass and can't wait to install. I found my old pillar trim so I can get it mounted.

I posted pics in my album.

What really sucks is that it should match. We sent in multiple pieces of factory trim in every color I believe.

Yep, I just went back and looked, we sent in every color of trim. There are like 3-4 colors of grey.

My red one doesn't match either. Its way darker than the rest of my interior. Wasn't worth the hassle to have them repaint it with a sample.

Fitment seemed like it was setup to go over the pillar cover. Gauges are deeper than the space between pods and pillar cover. Had to remove mine. Fit is so so but I'm more OCD than most.

Test fitting shows it will need some work. I gotta open the gauge holes a little, which I'm fine with. I gotta trim the the inside bolt on the gauge because it hits before the gauge sits flush. I scratched the paint up test fitting the gauge.
I'm using autometer pro-comp ultra-lite gauges for oil pressure and volt. Aem for the wideband.
