What did you paint them with? I feel like your truck, with those graphics, colors, etc, would fit well in Knight Rider. It looks good!

Thanks. I just used cheap black spray paint from Home Depot. I did take them down to the metal. Got all that plastic stuff off and then wet sanded the "D" windows and grooves. I sprayed two thin layers to the face. Then I wet sanded the whole thing. I basically used the first two layers as filler, wet sanded almost back to metal, then 3-4 layers of black. On the gold part, I just cleaned up the rim as mush as possible and just prayed the gold in there. There are some runs and fisheye's but it's the back of the wheel and not too many people will even notice.

Anyone tried using Plastidip to paint their rims?

Yeah. I've thought about it, but wanted something more permanent. The Plastic dip is a good option, but I know 'spray paint' better

This is the inspiration for my wheels. Eventually, I will take another stab at it and post the process & results.
