Default 5 speed rebuild?

Wondering what kind if life you can get out of a 5 speed out of a d21. Basically wondering how bullet proof the transmission is, and where I would look for a rebuild kit If I need to get honest some point.

Kind of unrelated. Do seals for the crankshaft go in dry or do u grease them up to slide in easier. Kind of heard opposing thoughts on the topic.

I used a light coat of engine oil for seating the crank and cam seals.

And as long as the trans kept full and gets serviced with the proper GL4, 300,000 miles is easily attained. Mine is nearing the quarter million mile mark.
